RARE limited edition style; Christian Dior by John Galliano Spring/Summer 1997; Robe fourreau "Althea", collection "Maasai", inspired by 1930s lingerie and "The Opium Den Era China" passage, referencing the use of black Chantilly lace and pale pink silk.

Powder pink, double-faced Hurel crêpe silk veiled in black guipre lace bias cut gown, with side slit to reveal 'Chinese yellow' satin lining, integral cream tulle corset with boning, black lace giant orchid corsage embroidered to the halterneck strap, trained mermaid hem, and multiple closures (hook & eye closure on corset, zipper closure on silk, and snap button closure on lace)
